Outside of work, Derek is an avid golfer with a 4 handicap and enjoys traveling, especially to new destinations where he can combine family, adventure, and golf.

Emma (Stickel) Cooper co-owns Stickel Insurance Group with her cousin, Derek Stickel. She has lived in Washington her entire life and worked as a license insurance agent with Allstate, State Farm, and American Family for nearly a decade before becoming the co-owner of Stickel Insurance Group in 2021. Emma lives in Millwood with her husband, young son, and their three dogs. Emma enjoys her off time at her family’s cabin on Pend Orielle river and by going to Arbor Crest for the views and local music.

I worked in escrow and title insurance for 6 years before joining Stickel Insurance Group in November 2023. I’ve lived in the Mead area with my family since 2018.

I am a dedicated agent with 10 years of experience in the industry.  Since 2015 I have helped many individuals navigate the complexities of insurance by delivering exceptional service,  ensuring our clients receive the coverage that best meets their needs. Having lived in the Spokane area most of my life I understand the unique needs of the local community.

With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Glenn David Scott is a trusted insurance agent and a third-generation professional in the field. David’s roots in the East County area run deep, as he’s been a lifelong resident since childhood. He loves the community and has an intimate knowledge of the area, which allows him to better serve his local clients.

David began helping in his family’s insurance business in 1986, and in 1994, he became a licensed, full-time insurance agent. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2003, further solidifying his expertise in the industry.

David’s approach to insurance is deeply personal—he takes the time to get to know each client so he can truly understand their unique needs. By treating every customer like family or a close friend, he ensures they receive the care and attention they deserve.

Outside of work, David is committed to his local community, attending church in the area and enjoying family life with his wife of 30 years and their son.

When he’s not helping clients, David enjoys a variety of hobbies, including playing guitars, participating in shooting sports, and indulging in classic arcade games and pinball. A lifelong Star Wars fan, he’s also a Disney enthusiast, with most of his vacations spent at Disney destinations.
